History and Introspectiveness

Many people don’t fully understand how electric vehicles (EVs) work, and unfortunately, manufacturers often don't take the time to explain it clearly.

At American Charger Corporation, we care. We’ll take the time to listen, understand your concerns, and deliver on our promises.

If you currently own a car, you're likely driving an ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) vehicle. This means gasoline or diesel is ignited in the engine, pushing pistons to turn the wheels. However, 60-70% of the energy produced is wasted, absorbed by surrounding metals instead of moving the vehicle. In addition to inefficiency, ICE engines release harmful exhaust gases, which contribute to air pollution and harm living organisms.

In response, engineers have developed new, more efficient energy systems that transfer up to 90% of energy to the wheels. This innovation replaces gasoline engines with rechargeable batteries and electric motors. Unlike ICE vehicles, EVs run on batteries that need to be recharged. While charging isn't as fast as filling up a gas tank, advances are being made to reduce charging times significantly. American Charger Corporation is at the forefront of this effort, developing faster and more efficient charging solutions.

However, the current infrastructure for EV chargers is still limited compared to the widespread availability of gas stations. We're working hard to close this gap. In the meantime, some consumers opt for hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), which use both an ICE and a battery. Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs), which can be charged externally, are becoming more popular because charging is cheaper than fueling with gasoline.

At American Charger Corporation, we believe any anxiety over charging infrastructure is temporary. EVs are not only more efficient but also cheaper to maintain and better for the environment. They're a cleaner, more sustainable choice for you and future generations.

With relentless effort to stop these gases going into the environment from these vehicles, engineers have designed new energy systems which are much more efficient in transferring energy to the wheels a whopping 90% compared to ICE vehicles.

The main change was to remove the gasoline engines and replace them with a battery system which is rechargeable. This system replaces the piston system with an electric motor which moves the vehicle.

These EV’s come in several different versions. Vehicles with only battery systems used as energy source to power the motor are EV. Like putting gas in a vehicle, these vehicles would need to charge the batteries. Charging batteries, at least now, is not as quick as filling up a gas tank. Depending on the capacity of the charger this process can take from 30 minutes to several hours.

This is a new technology, and efforts are being made throughout the world to get charging done much quicker. American Charger Corporation is bringing better and efficient designs to ensure that charging function is done much quicker.

Clean engines with a twist

With every vehicle that exists, one must fill up the energy source to go further than what one tank or a battery system would provide.

Consumers are smart in thinking of where they can charge the battery when the energy levels are low. Currently there are not many chargers installed, unlike the locations of gas stations. American Charger Corporation is gearing up to fill this void as soon as possible.

To overcome this infrastructure gap, many are looking to purchase a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). This vehicle has ICE as well as battery as energy source. When the battery is running out the ICE kicks in to complete the journey.

In some cases, the battery is charged by this ICE engine and in some vehicles the battery is charged by an external charger. These vehicles are called PHEV or Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles. These are more popular than just a generic HEV as the cost of charging a battery is much lower than used gasoline to do the same job.

With HEV and PHEV, the anxiety about charger location may be overcome. At American Charger Corporation we are certain that this anxiety is short lived.

Remember, EV are more efficient and are cheaper to charge. They also have very little maintenance compared to an ICE vehicle.

EV’s run clean and is good for the environment for you and the generations to come.
